Anyone having House Plant Problems....Arsenic? Humm....

I am sure we are all aware that 9 of our city wells are contaminated with Arsenic. Although we have been told that our risks are minimal (sensitive groups) My question is, "What constitutes a "sensitive" group?" I have done a lot of research on Arsenic and I am shocked at how serious this situation is. There is something seriously wrong with our water. Just recently (in the last month) all of my houseplants and my Mother's houseplants have become ill. My plants have stopped growing and they are losing leaves. My Mom's are losing leaves, turning yellow and looking really weak. My Mom has had house plants her entire life and has always had a 'green thumb." This is very unusual. I am curious if anyone else is experiencing these problems. My Mom and I live in different areas of town. I think we need to take these contaminates very seriously....

My houseplants are slowly dying too... I've taken care of my plants before but for the few months, nothing is surviving indoors. I thought I must be doing something wrong but now it is clear that it might be the water. Hmmm, let me try the filtered water for now.

Is there anyway we can post this discussion so everyone has the ability to see it. I am really curious to see how many other people are having this problem with indoor plants. I thought about buying 2 small plants from Home Depot and watering one with tap and one with bottled to see if there is a difference.

A lonely place...

If you traveled around the Home Depot area, the quiet place of the little market place is quiet. But hey, we can imagine it! :)
