Every morning, I gather myself to prepare for my commute headed towards Bakersfield. I got my coffee in the mug and in a 35 minutes drive, I am at work. I was reflecting on some of the notes written about me in my Del Ano yearbook. It made me think:
We were so quick to get out of that town, some of us. The rest either couldn't or wouldn't. Our ties were to our dreams.
