everything happens for a reason...

Hi there, reader, this is my first blog on this thing...and i wanna talk about how some (or most) people say when something bad happens (or good), that it happens for a reason...what i am interpreting this to be is that if everything <--(for argument sake) happens for a reason, does that mean there's no such thing as spontaneity?..because that would cancel out all acts of randomness and thus, make everything premeditated...if someone has a better take or different view on this, please respond...i would like to see what people think about this...till next time...
